1. TELL US WHAT MADE YOU START ROAMING STONES - AND HOW YOU’RE HOPING TO GROW AND DEVELOP IT MORE

Friends sought out travel recommendations from us because they shared our passion for discovering new horizons, new cultures and embarking on new adventures. We are inspired by the places we roam and the stones we collect along the way; Roaming Stones is our way of sharing what we’ve experienced with you. We share a curated collection of travel tips and raise awareness on conscious travel as it is what our communities need, and what nature is asking of us. The stones on our logo represent endurance: the ability to be grounded and connected with the earth. Via the Daily Stone, we share all things conscious travel from what we’ve been reading, what we’ve stumbled upon, people we’ve had conversations with, and everything in between. We are currently just on Instagram, but launching a website this summer, so stay tuned and feel free to reach out!

2. WHO IS AN INSPIRATIONAL WOMAN IN YOUR LIFE AND WHY?

My mother. She is the strongest woman I know. In this fast-paced lifestyle we all live in, she knows how to slow down and keep herself grounded, whilst getting an unbelievable amount done. She knows where to draw the line and is always true to herself.

3. What is one lesson she’s taught you?

Discipline, perseverance and resilience.

4. THIS YEAR’S THEME FOR INTERNATIONAL WOMEN’S DAY IS #BREAKTHEBAIS - WHAT BIAS ARE YOU CHOOSING TO BREAK?

This year I want to work on the bias of not having enough time to do something. There is always time. The question is: do you want to make time for it? We all live very busy lives and it’s easy to blame time as an excuse not to do something. This year I choose to work on this bias, and little by little carve some time out of my day, to do the little things I keep postponing because I don’t have “enough time”. The reality is, we make time for what is important to us. Often what you keep postponing requires a lot of your time, and understandably it’s more challenging to carve out a longer period of time. My point is to make this thing you want to do more attainable, break it into smaller goals so that eventually you can reach it. Time is of the essence. Choose wisely how you spend your time.

5. WHAT IS YOUR FAVOURITE PIECE FROM MATILDE JEWELLERY AND WHY?

The Ara Earrings for their story. The constellation of Ara formed alliances, bringing people together and creating connections. The Ara earrings are beautiful hoops that balance both elegance and a groovy feel.
